An architect designed contemporary renovation of a traditional Hebridean Blackhouse. Sleeps 2 in the main bedroom with an additional 2 on the sleeping platform (max. 4) (not suitable for pets or children).
The house is situated on the south coast of South Harris just off Strond, with its stunning views across the Sound of Harris to The Uists. The village of Leverburgh is only a mile away with well stocked general shop, post office and restaurant.
Just a few metres from the shore with exceptional views through the huge semi-circle of windows at the end of the house; to the west towards Leverburgh and Northton Hill and to the east Skye & the Cullins, also Roineabhal, the highest peak in South Harris, can be seen to the back of the house.
